Production Company: Marvel Studios

Release Date: November 3, 2017

Director: Taika Waititi

Starring: Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Idris Elba, Mark Ruffalo

Robbie’s Take: I've been hit or miss when it comes to seeing the latest Marvel movies, and I'll admit, I haven't seen any of the Thor movies so my only exposure to the character is via the Avengers and Captain America films.  So I reached out to my buddy Mike for his take, here's what he had to say...

Mike's Take: I mean I'm the biggest sucker for Marvel so I fucking loved it. It looks like if the Thor franchise and the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise fucked and made a movie.

DETROIT

DETROIT will be in theatres August 4. From the Academy Award winning director of THE HURT LOCKER and ZERO DARK THIRTY, DETROIT tells the gripping story of one of the darkest moments during the civil unrest that rocked Detroit in the summer of '67. Directed by Kathryn Bigelow. Written by Mark Boal.

Production Company: Annapurna Pictures

Release Date: August 4, 2017

Director: Kathryn Bigelow

Starring: John Boyega, Anthony Mackie, Will Poulter

Robbie’s Take: Academy Award-winning Director Kathryn Bigelow returns with the true story of a 1967 police raid in Detroit that led to one of the largest citizen uprising's in United States history. Her last two films, THE HURT LOCKER and ZERO DARK THIRTY, were wrought with tension and this trailer indicates we should expect more of the same.
